Refugees Learn Job Skills

The TeachBeyond Center in Kandern is offering a "Basic Computer Training" class for refugees. With the condensed courses we want to help young people prepare for their professional career in Germany. A TeachBeyond member from Canada is leading the training sessions.

An important part of integration into German society is finding a job. It is vital that the refugees learn to write a resumé, letters, emails, and search the Internet. Many have never had the opportunity to use a computer in their homeland. In Germany the ability to use a computer is essential.

We believe that every person has a right to education and personal development opportunities, and want to provide the refugees with a trusting and encouraging learning environment.
