Spiritual and Physical Healing in Tanzania

"I had the privilege of being a part of a missions trip with my church to a poor, remote village," writes Christina Finocchi, a TeachBeyond member serving at Haven of Peace Academy in Tanzania. She went during the mid-term break at the school.

"The village has no local church. We loved on the people and supplied 150 families with water filter bags of food.

"We had a medical clinic set up for people to receive care that is desperately needed. In the evening there was a kids club where we had fun with the children and shared Christ’s love with them, and then fed well over 300 villagers.

"Some people were very receptive and others were not very receptive, but through it all God was faithful and 29 people came to know Jesus. Lives were healed and people received not only physical nourishment, but also spiritual nourishment.

"Amazing miracles of healing happened during our time there. We witnessed people who couldn’t walk start walking and so much more. It says in the Word that if you pray with faith for the sick they will be healed."
